The Gulf shores in Alabama is a wonderful place. Beaches are neat and beautiful with pristine water and fine sand beaches. It can be perfect destination to relax and rewind. There is nothing like spending a day at the sea laying under the sun and swimming in the water. As soon as the surf is up you can also go surfing or maybe sit and help your children build sand castles.
So what more could you want? How about a Music festival. That may be right when it is the month of May the gulf shores are taken by storm by the music festival called the Hangout Music festival. Just in the second year it has gone on to become a well liked Music festival with people who love music along with the beach. This festival was initially organized in 2010 with about several or so bands performing in the inaugural festival. The festival saw footfall more than 15000 per day of the 3 day festival.
This current year the 2nd edition of the now famous music festival was held. Which saw the sheer numbers of visitors being limited to 35000 visitors a day. Several of the biggest rock bands performed covering the period of three days.
A number of the bands included Foo fighters a multi Grammy award winning alternative rockband. Motorhead that are considered the Gods of heavy metal and rock music were also present. Cee lo green the artist of the chart busting song " crazy" and a voice coach on the famous reality Television series The voice also performed in 2011.
It is not only regarding the music and the beach. The food courts offer some really delicious lip smacking food which will leave you wanting for even more.
The crowning moment of the 2011 festival was the closing song performed by the foo fighters and cee lo green together. The tickets to the 2012 edition are actually up for grabs online so go get the tickets today.
