The CMA Awards are televised on the TV channel ABC. Interestingly enough, the Country Music Association Awards also give a Personality of the Year award to nine lucky radio personalities.
Nearly 6,000 men and women went to the first iteration of the Country Music Marathon in the year 2000. Then, in 2008 there were nearly 30,000 entrants. The route of the Nashville Country Music Marathon starts with Centennial Park and ends outside of LP Field.
