What to do when visiting gulf shores

The Gulf shores in Alabama certainly are a wonderful place. The beaches are neat and beautiful with pristine water and fine sand beaches. It is actually perfect place to relax and rewind. There is nothing like spending a day by the beach laying sun-drenched and swimming in the water. Once the surf is up you can also go surfing or perhaps sit and help your children build sand castles.

Now what more do you want? Think about a Music festival. That may be right when it is the month of May the gulf shores are taken by storm by a music festival referred to as Hangout Music festival. Just in their second year it has gone on to become a well liked Music festival with individuals who love music and the beach. This festival was initially organized in 2010 with about a dozen or so bands performing at the inaugural festival. The festival saw footfall greater than 15000 per day of the 3 day festival.

This season the 2nd edition of the now famous music festival was held. Which saw the quantity of visitors being capped at 35000 visitors on a daily basis. A number of the biggest rock bands performed across the amount of three days.

Several of the bands included Foo fighters a multi Grammy award winning alternative rock band. Motorhead which have been considered the Gods of heavy metal and rock music were also present. Cee lo green the artist of the chart busting song " crazy" and a voice coach on the famous reality Television series The voice also performed in 2011.

It is not only about the music and the beach. The food courts offer some really delicious lip smacking food that will leave you wanting for even more.

The crowning moment of the 2011 festival was the closing song performed by the foo fighters and cee lo green together. The tickets to the 2012 edition are actually offered online so go get your tickets today.
