Here are some of the new Kinect games for 2011. The 1st game that I want to talk about is Wipeout 2.
So far as new Kinect games, Wipeout 2 must be one of the most fun, fast paced, and physically challenging games that I've reviewed so far. Just like the show the game is set up with you as the person running thru the assault course. As your personality is required to go through the difficulties you want to guide them with the movements of your body. You have Winter and Summer areas you can play thru and it's a lot of fun.
Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012 I don't know should be catalogued as one of the new Kinect games as it appears to be more of a work-out programme. That being said it's a good workout program. You get to choose from simple warm up activities to leap rope, hula, or boot camp. You can do yoga and even dance classes. You can select a coach to help you along the way. I love it because you pick your level of difficulty.
Dance Central 2 isn't to unlike Dance Central 1. I like the song selection a little better as it appears to be a bit more like club music which is way more fun to dance to. The navigation platform is hardier as you can use voice controls. It looks to be a little easier to navigate that way. You can dance to predetermined playlists or build your own. This game is actually physical but extremely fun!
One of the new Kinect games that I have enjoyed is Halo Combat Evolved. When you pop the game in, it prompts you to do an update right away. You use the Xbox controller to play but it has some advanced options. Voice commands are a big part of the update. You can use your voice to choose options like classic graphics, remastered graphics, lighter screen, darker screen etc... You can also voice command to reload a throw your grenades. This would be super cool but it makes it easy for others in the room to mess you up. Aside from that it's a real exciting game to experience.
Lastly I would like to talk about Kinect Sports Season 2. You can pick from Golfing, Darts, Baseball, Skiing, Tennis and American Football. I spent the majority of my time playing the football and there are some fantastic features in this game. You are often playing the offense. Usually because it's more fun to play the quarterback. You can network with other players and have multiple players. You select plays from the play book and carry them out.
Over all these are the new Kinect games that I liked. I am hoping you get an opportunity to check them out.
