Just about everyone who visits Sedona wonders at its amazing natural beauty. Not only the awe-inspiring and deservedly famous red rocks, but it's known for its many world famous Vortex power spots.
A vortex is said to be a special spot in the world where higher dimensional energies are concentrated to an extent to which it can be felt by humans. These energies, according to common myth, particularly in Sedona, enhance the energy flow in our own bodies - what the Chinese call "chi", or the Hindus "prana". You might say that vortex sites are akin to acupuncture points on the earth's surface - and therefore the acupuncture meridians of the planet are the "ley lines" posited by the traditional Druids.
Many claim that the vortex energies and the energy that flows thru our delicate bodies is the same - it's an electro-magnetic energy.
No matter what your belief, it's tough to either prove or disprove that vortexes truly exist. While there has been talk of measuring the force of the electro-magnetic fields at these spots, we aren't mindful of any convincing scientific experiments along this line.
But... That does not imply they are not real. Many totally real experiences are difficult, or maybe even impossible, to measure. As an example, how does one measure the discernible experience of love? So many of us have reported feeling "something" at these vortex sites (including us) that we all know there is something to them.
Don't visit a vortex expecting that you're going to instantly feel heightened energy, ecstasy, or some other positive or transformative state. While many do report these kinds of experiences, it's our belief that an increased flow of spiritual energy in the body will go to where it's needed for healing. Hence you will feel sadness come up, if there's something you have needed to grieve but haven't permitted yourself to feel. Or you may feel an old injury ache, as the energy moves thru that area of your body. And, you may simply just feel great!
Hence in spite of the hype, experience the Sedona Vortexes for yourself!
