If you want to discover your life purpose, all you have to do is follow the trail of breadcrumbs. Only in real-life, the breadcrumbs would represent your desires. You know you are on the right track when you feel the tingle, that sensation that motivates you to do and explore more. You are discovering your life's purpose when you feel that certain spark towards something or someone.
Shamans believed in a concept called soul retrieval. This is when a person's soul breaks into a bunch of tiny little pieces. These pieces go and hide in the underworld. Many shamans work diligently to piece back the parts of someone soul. However, it is an incredibly arduous task. I believe that a person cannot find the pieces of their soul in one lifetime. They have to keep coming back, occupying a physical body to explore their life's purpose.
We've all had those moments when we are completely frustrated by a problem or situation. Then, just when we are about to give up, someone or something comes into our lives and solves it immediately. We've all experienced those aha moments that made us see things from a totally different perspective. We've all had those sudden epiphanies after reading a book, watching a movie, or being inspired by an individual.
All these things are happening for a reason. God has a divine plan for you. He is sending down angels, or giving you the missing pieces that you need to complete your soul. Discovering your life's purpose is all about evolution. We are all going through life looking for the missing pieces that complete our soul.
These moments are paramount to us discovering our life purpose, because in these moments we are finding the lost pieces of our soul. This is the process of evolution. We are all going through life looking for the missing pieces that complete our soul. So many of us are off track, or don't know how to get on the right track because we are "looking for love in all the wrong places." We ignore our desires, and by doing that, we are literally cutting off our energy supply.
We have to understand that our desire is power seeking to be manifested. If we dream about having a certain talent or doing certain kinds of jobs, we have the skills, talents, and ability to do so. Just know, that it is our purpose in life that ties everything together and gives us a sense of connectedness with our past and previous lives. We are constantly getting hints. The Divine is dropping pieces of our soul's puzzle in front of us. However, we get discouraged when we ignore our desires.
The worst thing that you could do is to try and make pieces fit. This will result in you putting most of the pieces of your soul together, only to find out that it is completely wrong. This is what is so bad about failure. You have to retrace your steps and figure out what went wrong. People like Thomas Edison failed more than 1000 times while inventing the light bulb. This invention was his life's purpose. And the reason why he failed so many times was because everything had to fit perfectly. The slightest variation on his part just wouldn't work. He had to find the exact match.
Our souls are very much the same way. We have to find the exact match, the perfect piece in order to finish our puzzle. This will allow us to evolve, follow our calling and serve humanity. Just know that every thought, idea, dream that you have is a message from Obatala. When you meet someone, and there is a spark, two pieces of your puzzle have just been connected. When you get that promotion at your job, more pieces of your puzzle have been connected. When you live a life that is full of happiness, bliss, and joy, you've successfully pieced back together your soul.
