Ubisoft has revolutionised their Assassin's Creed series with the third instalment. This game has been changed in order to offer something better for players to do. The main game has new combat, survival and a whole host of weapons that are just waiting to be used in all sorts of ways.
Among the announcements Ubisoft revealed several editions of Assassin's Creed 3. The Join Or Die edition is a mid-range option that provides a small amount of extra online content to fans. It also contains a few extras that are exclusive to this edition meaning that many people will be buying the game more than once.
The PlayStation Network is an online shop for PlayStation users that allows them to download games straight to their console. Assassin's Creed 3 is the very first game that will be available for pre-order on this system and it has many people excited.

There has been no news on Desmond for Assassin's Creed 3. He is the descendant of every playable assassin, and has recently awoken from a coma. He needs to find a way to stop a solar flare killing everything on the planet, but as of yet there is still no news of how he could do this.
Players will surely have to take on the role of the modern day assassin Desmond at some point during this new game. He will have a major part to play but nothing has been revealed about this yet, and instead players have only been shown what they will be playing in regards to his ancestor.
