Saving The Planet With Anti Freeze Weapons In Future Sci-Fi Films

By Alaric Sowerby

Following the 1968 launch of the film "Planet of the Apes", freezing chambers had become a hit in sci-fi film sets. With dry ice, props people started the just as essential mist effect. This effect is just like smoke, only the atmosphere is heavier, colder, and clearer. Although there are plenty of horror and science fiction films that use freezing to indicate a time lag, just one character had a strong effect on me. His moniker is Mr. Freeze and he is actually Batman and Robin's sworn enemy. He brought me to the concept of anti freeze or possibly coolant to be the hero's counter weapon.

Chemicals are the emphasis of many sci-fi films. One particular illustration is "Evolution", a movie distributed in 2001. It is a science fiction comedy film wherein a particular shampoo chemical saved mankind. Apart from saving the whole world from certain disaster, chemical substances likewise give a natural excuse for humans with special strengths to emerge in films. The chemical terms are usually unusual but the formula works.

Today, it's about time for a really existing chemical to stand out. A chemical substance in coolant lowers the freezing point of liquids. Combined with water, a coolant helps prevent a car radiator from freezing over or boiling up in destinations with changing climate. It could not get a lot more genuine than that to support a story collectively. The main hero may simply buy anti freeze and prevent a probable ice villain from reviving. However, the storyline would have to rely on one more villain.

Heroes could likewise douse themselves in a non-toxic coolant and end up immune to the enemy's freeze ray. Mr. Freeze has signature one-liners whenever he is about to ice his enemies. He declares something like "cool down" or "chill" then attacks them using an ice weapon. For once, I'd love to hear the heroes answer with a clever retort like "anti-chill" or something like it.

We all know aliens are unmoved by earth technology. For this reason, I'd like to point out that coolant is good for defeating people with chemically based freezing powers only. Villains obtain their powers from a toxic chemical pit, lab accident, or a radioactive insect. Various chemical and scientific forces affected them all. If not, they'd still be normal. They'd be the onlooker on the sideline cheering for the film hero instead.

What baffles me is the time where fictional heroes plummet to their end. They actually seem to live if a chemical bubbling in a huge container jolts their fall. If ever the chemical was a pure, unmixed coolant, I personally doubt they would really survive.

An antifreeze supplier would definitely refute the idea of people getting ultra powers out of coolant. Engine coolants are definitely hazardous to pets and most likely humans, also. Red or green juice may substitute the actual thing in the movie. In actual life, it will be a disaster worth a sci-fi story.
