More about Crown Chakra Exercises

A healthy mind and body help us navigate the waves of life more easily, with less stress and more purpose.We all want to have boundless energy to accomplish the tasks set before us so that when we have completed them we will still have enough verve to actually enjoy time with our family and friends. Boundless energy doesn't just come from a cup of Joe or a quick chocolate bar.We can't find true life giving energy in a bottle or a pill.The real stuff of life; the energy that sustains us; comes to us from a different source altogether and we have the energetic equipment, called our chakras, to receive and utilize this life force energy no matter where we are.

Here are a few of the exercises and other physical activities that can improve chakra condition.Even the simplest actions can have a big effect on your overall health and wellbeing.You may be surprised how easy it is to work some of these activities into your daily routine and thereby improve the function of chakras so easily.

Root Chakra Exercises:Taking the stairs instead of using an elevator at work or school is a perfect root chakra exercise. Or use a stair-stepper exercise machine as part of your regular workout.Country and western line dancing is a fun alternative exercise to consider.They can also make you lose weight faster.Jogging, running, and walking are excellent exercises for the root chakra as well, not to mention their benefits to the heart.

So, what blocks our chakras and keeps them from functioning optimally?There are several factors that can throw our chakras off balance.Being as interconnected as we are, the very states of mind that throw us off balance emotionally are the same ones that upset us vibrationally.Fear, stress, negativity, emotional upset, anger and resentment are some of the typical states of mind that can bring the chakras out of harmony and slow their absorption of energy. We are intricate, emotionally energetic machines.Whether we want to admit it or not, our mental and emotional state of being determines much of what we are going to experience in this physical body.

Crown Chakra Exercises:Physical exercises for the crown chakra are not possible, though many individuals find that exercise in general is beneficial from both a physical and spiritual standpoint.The promotion of physical wellness results in spiritual enhancement as well.The ability to release emotional frustrations and mental dilemmas through physical activity is also good for the spirit.

Energy work is a mysterious ability, until one learns to sense, feel and direct it.Reiki is one of those modalities that can be learned in just an hour or so and it is invaluable in every aspect of life, including balancing our own and other's energy fields.Once you have the knowledge of how to direct the flow of Chi, it becomes easy to focus one's mental energy and direct it to a certain chakra.
